Say hello to Sprinkles!

Sprinkles is a 4-year-old Bulldog/Terrier mix who comes in at a petite 47lbs. He is a sweet and sensitive soul looking for a family that is willing to give him a home to blossom in. Sprinkles arrived in our care with heartworm disease that has been left untreated for so long that it caused irreversible damage to his heart. Although you would never know by interacting with him, it has caused him to be on daily medication long term to keep him happy and healthy! He lived in a foster home and is crate and potty trained and is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a quiet pup to add to their home that takes a little extra TLC.

Sprinkles can be nervous when meeting new people and may need a couple yummy treats to warm up. Once comfortable this boy would make a great topping to any sundae. He is a quiet boy who would adore a comfy bed, and a couple of squeaky toys to call his own. He has never met a squeaky toy that he doesn't love and he will gladly self occupy for hours. Sprinkles can do well with dogs with a slow intro, but would much rather have a companion than a playmate. As for kids, due to his soft nature he would enjoy living with kids as young as 13.
