Spotz's foster says: Spotz (aka: Snuggle Butt) is one of the friendliest, physically affectionate dogs we have ever met. Hes never met a human he doesnt immediately like. Hes especially fond of children of all ages. Hes young and energetic. Hes always up for a play session in the backyard; or a walk; or a run! His favorite activity by far is snuggling on the couch or on the bed. However, he very good about getting down and giving you space when you tell him to. Spotz is highly responsive to praise and corrections. Hes not necessarily the fastest learner but, with repetition, he does learn. Hes got Get Down, Sit, Wait, and Come solid. Additional tricks available upon request (and a weeks notice :-) This happy mutt does have a strong prey drive. Rabbits and squirrels be warned (although hes never come close to catching one). Unfortunately, we have not yet had an opportunity to test him around cats. If youve got a cat, we can definitely do a safe meet & greet prior to adoption to make sure there arent any issues. He loves a rough & tumble play with other dogs. However, he respects other dogs boundaries and, if they dont want to play with him, he leaves them be.
