Spotakiss American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Williamsburg, NM

Hi there! I'm Spotakiss. I enjoy affection, being close to you, and making you proud. If you like to give belly rubs I will happily flop over onto my back for them! I must say, when I am with people who are caring for me, I spend a fair amount of time rolling on my back having tummy scratches. Delicious!

I will get into my bed when it's time to go to sleep, or you're welcome to have me sleep with you if you like. I also take the treat gently out of your hand too. I even am learning to "shake" and "paw". I am an absolute Star Student on the Agility Course here at Desert Haven and like to learn and would love to show my agility talents to you when you visit me!

I took a trip with a volunteer and her husband to the Golf Course. I was calm in the car on the way. I liked that little Road Trip in the car. Then we got to the Golf Course and there was green grass. I pulled on the leash because I was so excited by the green grass in the desert and getting to go on Spot's Day Out. I was good around the other golfers, didn't bark, and enjoyed exploring my surroundings. I didn't see any other dogs which was nice because I might have barked and do have some leash reactivity so I can get uncomfortable around other dogs sometimes.

We can adventure together but mostly I'm a homebody. I'd do best in a home without other pets. I want a relaxed and happy life and being your one-and-only may be the right home for me. I'm independent and like my downtime. I like chewing on a Kong filled with treats, toys, and curling up on the couch. I've been described by some as a couch-potato. I'm mostly content at home -- lounging, napping, and snuggling up with you.
