Ladies and Gentlemen! Introducing a stocky, sturdy fella simply called Spot! Spot is a definite volunteer favorite. Volunteers describe Spot as an awesome dog who walks politely on his leash. They also tell us he loves the play yard where he can prance like a deer and get spunky! Volunteers find Spot is very comical with his short stocky body and huge head! Silly Spot makes our volunteers simply giggle! Volunteers have found Spot has no interest in toys but does loves treats! This handsome fella likes to take a bit of time to get to know new people. Once he warms up to you he is very playful and excited to see you. Macho Man Spot loves to eat! This solid hunk is food and treat motivated! Canine siblings for Spot will depend on the outcome of a meet and greet (tends to get over excited with other dogs). Spot will thrive best in an adult only household or possibly with dog savvy older teens (can be a rough and mouthy player). Staff has found Spot is not comfortable with direct eye contact and has a slight fear of strangers. Spot is a six year old male mixed breed who was abandoned by his previous owner and brought to our shelter by local authorities. A dog savvy family or owner with breed experience will help handsome Spot to thrive in his new home. Applications are now being accepted for Spot. Staff and our dog trainer will review applications for Spot. Once an application is reviewed/approved for a potential adopter a supervised Meet and Greet will be scheduled. Please visit lebanonhumane.org for all the details on our adoption process or simply stop in our shelter anytime during open business hours!
