**Spirit was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training. She will be at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock. She will be crate trained, house trained, learn manners, and she will learn lots of tricks as well! Spirit will be looking for a forever home before she graduates in mid June, so if you are interested in meeting her, please contact us!<br/><br/>Spirit is fun little lady. She was in a backyard pen her whole life with little interaction with people, but she loves people and gets so happy to see them. She will greet you with so much excitement that you can't help but laugh. Spirit is high energy and ready for adventure. She gets along with other dogs and walks great on a leash. She tested positive for heartworms and has just finished her treatment! She will need to be on heartworm preventative the rest of her life, which is an easy thing to do. Spirit needs some training which is why we sent her to the prison. The right home, willing to work with her, will find that Spirit is fun, loving and full of character. She will bring happiness and laughter into your life. Spirit is a fun little socialite!
