Spike

Spike is a wonderful boy! His previous family was devastated when they realized their son's severe allergies were being brought on by contact with his faithful friend, Spike! They reluctantly asked us for help in finding him a home.<br/><br/>Spike has a great, perky, investigative personality. He is a busy boy when outside, sedentary inside. He's not too sure about the other dogs in his foster home right now. He may not have had too much socialization with other dogs. He'll need patience on the part of his new family to help him learn to play with other dogs.<br/><br/>Spike will let you know when someone comes to the door. He'll let you know they're in the house. He'll also let you know they've had a seat and appear to be remaining for some unknown reason. Spike will benefit from a basic obedience class to learn more about what is expected of him. He already has many of his basic manners, he just needs to learn sit, down, stay and to walk nicely on a leash. He would also like to learn what you expect of him when someone comes to the door.<br/><br/>A wonderful little boy!<br/><br/>Weight: about 10 pounds
