Say hello to oh so handsome Spike! This stunning boy came to HAL after being found out in the boonies with another dog and their faces full of porcupine quills. Spike was terrified when he first came to HAL but has since warmed up and came out of his shell. He is approximately 10 months old and all about the love. It appears his life was probably not all the sweet before and he is learning that not all humans are bad. He is learning how to play with toys and he thinks they are pretty great. He is also still learning that not all people are bad. Quick movements are still a little scary for him and so are strangers especially men. He is in need of a loving home that will continue to show him tender loving care and work on socialization. He loves to play with female dogs but not so much with other males there for he would not be a dog park dog. Spike is in need of a home with an experienced owner and a secured fenced in yard. We recommend that he goes to a home without children. Spike gets neutered on 11/6/2020 and will be ready to go home on 11/7/2020 his adoption fee is $200.00 this includes his neuter UTD on his vaccines micro chipped free 30 day trial of pet health insurance and free custom engraved ID tag.
