Meet Speckle

Speckle is a beautiful 1.5 year old shepherd mix with a uniquely handsome appearance. A DNA test on this sweet boy would be very interested. He's a gentle and loving pup, always eager to give cuddles and kisses to the people he loves. Despite whatever past led him to being picked up by animal control and brought to our shelter, Speckle continues to show the world his playful and friendly spirit. In the shelter, he's been known to bring a smile to everyone who passes by, especially with his endearing and happy-go-lucky personality. He loves to be around his humans and will thrive in a home that will make him a special part of the family. Speckle enjoys exploring the outdoors and will be happy to tag along for any adventure. Speckle is sure to make a wonderful family companion! Follow the link below to apply to adopt!

Speckle is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms. He will be neutered prior to going home to his forever family. We will have to do more assessing if you have other dogs at home. When he first came in at the beginning of May he wasn't super interested in making canine pals. His adoption fee including transport is $300.

--> If you are interested in adopting Speckle please fill out our online application here: A staff member will reach out if your application is approved to discuss the adoption process. No fenced in yard required, and YES - we adopt to families with children! The adoption will not be final until the adoption contract is discussed and signed. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application. Adopters will meet at a designated meeting spot to pick up their new companions. For further information, please first fill out the application referenced above.

**Due to import regulations we are not able to adopt to MA or RI residents at this time.
