Sparrow Chihuahua Mix Torrington, CT

We're so excited to introduce you to Sparrow...Davinci, Picasso and Mona Lisa's amazing mom. Like her babies, Sparrow was found in an abandoned home with eight other Chihuahuas before going to animal control. After surviving on her own and caring for her pups, we wanted Sparrow to have some time to decompress in her foster home before we posted her for adoption. Now that she's learned the ways of being a spoiled little lady, our 2 year old, 5 lb. Chihuahua mama is ready to find her forever family. Sparrow's favorite activities include chewing on bones that are twice her size, playing with her toys (she LOVES toys!) and sunbathing in the backyard. Our little tomboy also has her girlie moments and loves to hop up on the chair in her foster mom's bedroom to look at herself in the mirror. Cutest. Thing. Ever. Sparrow is very dog friendly but like a true Chihuahua, she can be possessive of her person when she's on their lap. She just loves cuddling so much that sometimes she doesn't want to share but she takes correction well. She is almost entirely potty pad trained but she will need some positive reinforcement in this area as she transitions into her new home. This little girl can be shy at first so she will thrive most with a patient family (kiddos are fine but ages 10+ please) who will give her time to come out of her shell. Once she's comfortable, this sweet, affectionate, playful girl will steal your heart. Sparrow is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped.
