Sparky was born May 29/2017 and he weighs approx 50 lbs. He is neutered and current on his vet care. Although he came out of a puppy mill after being used for breeding he played with the miller's kids and walks well on leash. He does fine with other dogs and expect he would be fine with cats as well. He is still a little cautious approaching new people but this is normal coming out of a mill. He is using a dog door at the fosters home to let himself in and out and does use the outdoors for potty.
Once comfortable with a new person he does love attention. He is passed the 'puppy' stage so has been left loose for the most part without any issues. Given a chance he will make some family a wonderful addition.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
