SPANKY Pit Bull Terrier Mix Tucson, AZ

Spanky is happy, spunky boy who was a bit shy when he first came to the shelter but who has truly started to shine! He has a bouncy, playful personality and is so much fun to spend time with! Heres what volunteers have said: Spanky took treats from my hand and sat nicely for a treat before we left his kennel. On our walk we sat down under a tree and he was very receptive to petting, he even nudged my hand when I stopped. He obviously likes being around people. Spanky loves treats. We went to a play a yard and once he relaxed he approached me on his own. He allowed me to scratch him under his chin and on his head. He sweet and gentle and would likely bond and build confidence in a home. In his prior home of nine months Spanky was described as a very loving dog who did well with young kiddos and was affectionate, playful, and loves toys. Spanky shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Hed like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure its a good fit.
