Meet Soup
Soup is up for adoption!
Age: 10 months
Gender: Male
Weight: 38lbs
Breed: GSD Mix
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Yes
Potty Trained: Yes
Neutered: Yes
Microchipped: Yes
Heartworm: Negative
Vaccinated: Yes
Location: Soup is being fostered in Elburn, IL. No out of state applicants, please.
Crate Trained: Work in progress. He is very unhappy in the crate but if he’s got a dog friend near him, for comfort, he does well.
Kids: No kids. Soup is child friendly but we’ve witnessed some food resource guarding. We want to ensure a long term home so we think no young children is best.
Soup is a super sweet boy that is still learning the ropes. He and his buddy Malcolm have been inseparable since they’ve gone into their foster home together.
Soup definitely has German Shepherd in him so he’s got one of those personalities. He can be quite noisy at times. We’d like Soup to go to a GSD experienced home who understands their traits.
He’s an overall really nice boy that should be a great addition to a family of GSD lovers.
If you’re interested in meeting Soup, please fill out an application at animalheartline.org and a volunteer will contact you.
