**I am currently enrolled in the Pups for Parole training program. Upon graduation, I will have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion. I will need a family willing to continue my training, I sure don't want to forget all that I learned!

My name means "Lucky" in Portuguese. I'm Sortudo a 50 pound, year old male pit bull terrier/mixed breed with the most adorable head tilt. My journey took a remarkable turn when luck smiled upon me. I was moments away from saying goodbye at animal control, already sedated for the final journey. Just in time, Rescue One extended their hand to save me, granting me a second chance at life. Currently, I'm a work-in-progress, learning the skills of house, crate, and leash training. I am doing really well on my leash walking plus I am working on a couple of commands. I get along with other dogs and even cats! I haven’t met any kids yet, but I can be kid tested upon request. My heart yearns for a house with a fenced yard where I can unleash my boundless energy. Energetic and playful, I live each moment with enthusiasm, radiating positivity. My tail wags with gratitude for this newfound lease on life, and I'm ready to shower love and joy upon my future forever family.

I will soon be on my way to Pups for Parole, where I will be learning everything there is to know about being a great companion.

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!

We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*
