She's always at a level 10 and loves to run and chase. Sophie would do amazing in a home with an active family. She would benefit from consistent training and mental enrichment to keep her happy.<br/><br/>Sophie does show signs of separation anxiety when left alone. She would do best being left in a kennel when home alone. This will keep her feeling safe and secure and help to keep Sophie out of trouble when no one is home to keep an eye out.<br/><br/>Sophie has met dogs and did well with them. She has met cats and young children but did not have good interactions with them. Sophie does enjoy chasing things, so a home with no cats, young children, and small animals would be ideal for Sophie. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing home a new animal. Ask a TCHS staff member for tips!<br/><br/>*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.<br/><br/>**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
