Sookie

Several months ago Sookie came to us as a naked, sad, little baby and it’s officially time for her to find a home of her own! <br/><br/>Sookie is just 1-2 years old and still has that young dog energy. She would benefit from a fenced in back yard for her to run (Sookie will not make a good apartment dog, so a fenced in yard is required). She is housebroken, crate trained, and absolutely loves to snuggle. We hope you’re ready to have a 38lb bowling ball in your bed because wherever you are, she will be! <br/><br/>Sookie currently lives in a foster home with 2 dogs and a few cats. She does think chasing everyone is fun though so dog savvy cats who are used to dogs and dogs who like to run will be her best companions (though she would also be fine as an only pet). <br/><br/>Sookie enjoys going for walks and walks well on a leash. She does need continued work on her manners as she is quite stubborn. Though she has made huge progress Sookie takes treats very rough and will do best in a home without children. <br/><br/>Think you might be the right home for Sookie?
