Meet Sonic
Meet Sonic!

Sonic got his name because he was seen regularly eating scraps at a Sonic in Tennessee as a stray. The animal control miracle workers were eventually able to catch him and bring him to their shelter. He was with them for awhile before he came to Rescued Rascals and found a loving foster home to take care of him.
Sonic is a really sweet boy. He prefers women over men, but he will warm up to men with some time and patience. Once he bonds to you he will love you forever! He can be shy at first, so his ideal home will be patient and understanding that he needs some time to trust them - but also know that he is worth it!
He is currently working with a professional trainer to help him gain confidence and get more socializing. He's been able to go on adventures to places like Farm and Fleet to gain some exposure and he has already come so far. We would love for his adopters to continue helping him learn the world isn’t a scary place!
We always say the shy dogs are the best, because the process of building their trust and a bond with them is so rewarding. Someone will be very lucky to adopt Sonic, they will have a best friend for life.

** Our standard adoption fees are as follows $400 for puppies up to 12 months, $300 for adults, and $200 for seniors 7yrs and up with cash or check. It includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, heartworm preventative, and micro-chipping.
