Sonic got his name because he was seen regularly eating scraps at a Sonic in Tennessee as a stray. The animal control miracle workers were eventually able to catch him and bring him to their shelter. He was with them for awhile before he came to Rescued Rascals.

Sonic is a really sweet boy. He prefers women over men, and once he bonds to you he’ll love you forever! But he can be really shy at first. His ideal home will be very patient and understanding that he needs some time to trust them.

He is currently working with a professional trainer to help him gain confidence and get more socializing. We’d love for his adoptive home to work hard to continue his training and helping him learn the world isn’t a scary place!

** Our standard adoption fees are as follows $400 for puppies up to 12 months, $300 for adults, and $200 for seniors 7yrs and up with cash or check. It includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, heartworm preventative, and micro-chipping.
