Solar German Shepherd Dog Mix Kennewick, WA

Born July 6, 2019, Solar is a female German Shepherd mix (her mom is a full German Shepherd) seeking a forever home. Solar was born in our rescue and has brought so much joy to her foster family but it’s time she finds a forever home. She has medium energy level, is very affectionate, playful, and loves the water. This gorgeous girl has received formal training, knows basic commands, potty trained, and crate trained. She is very smart, people and dog friendly. She prefers other dogs that are male, a little smaller than her, and low-medium energy; though she would do great as an only dog as well. She enjoys car rides and walks well on a leash. She would thrive in an active home with a family who would continue with her training and socialization. Solar will require a home with a secure 6 foot fence (though she does not jump a fence). She does well with kids though she would likely do best with older kids or adults. She enjoys a good chase so her ideal home will not have birds, cats, or pocket pets. Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise.
