Born July 6, 2019, Solar is female German Shepherd mix seeking a forever home. This gorgeous girl has received training and does great with other dogs but would do best in a home without other small animals. She's high energy, smart and curious! Solar bonds much quicker with females, and is a bit fearful of males until she learns that they are one of the good guys. Solar's ideal home would be with one other dog who matches her energy level who she can play and romp with. She would thrive in an active home with a family who would continue with her training because she's bright would excel! Solar will require a home with a secure 6 foot fence. She does well with kids but she's still a bit of a mouthy puppy so would likely do best with older kids or adults. Solar would love to be in her forever home by the time she turns one! Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise.
