Meet Sochi:: 6-7 years old, 8 pounds, Spayed female Schnauzer mix.

Available for Adoption!

Little Sochi was rescued from a hoarding situation and she is looking for a very special forever home. Due to the conditions she came from, Sochi is very shy and has not had a lot of experiences in life outside of her overcrowded home. Sochi is a very sweet, lap dog kind of girl, but she will take a little time to warm up to her new surroundings. She does well with other dogs in the home, but will benefit greatly from some one on one attention. Because Sochi is so timid with meeting new people, a calm/quiet home without young children would be best for her. Sochi is housebroken, but expect a few accidents during her initial acclimation period.

$120 Adoption Fee.

All Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue dogs come spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm tested, current on heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipped.

Along with other criteria evaluated in the application, a fenced yard is required to adopt. Please see our Fenced Yard Requirements tab on our website for more information.

Our adoption area, unless otherwise specified in their bio, is within a two hour radius of Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue for adult dogs. Please see our Adoption Radius tab on our website for more info.

ADOPTION APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR PEPPERMINT PIG ANIMAL RESCUE:

To complete our easy online adoption application:

1. Go to our website at PeppermintPigAnimalRescue.org.

2. Read our ADOPTION PROCESS tab on our website.

3. Read the dog's bio on our website to check for specific requirements to adopt and to see if the energy, personality, size, etc. are the right fit for your family.

4. Complete our online Adoption Application.

5. We will contact you if you are selected for a meet.

All adoption information and applications can be found under the ADOPTION CENTER tab.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
