Coco (Adopted) and Snoopy were surrendered to the Rescue through no fault of their own. Their previous owner made the difficult and heart-breaking decision to surrender these boys to Pet Tales to ensure they would always live the best life possible.

Coco has spent his entire life with the same owner. He came into Rescue with his brother Snoopy and the two are a bonded pair. Coco may be a Senior who occasionally has trouble with a lot of stairs, but he can still move with the agility of a younger dog! He has a very gentle temperament and is very mild mannered. Coco’s ideal day would be snuggling on his owners lap, going for a walk outside, followed by more snuggling and maybe a nap. Coco does suffer from separation anxiety and has been working diligently with his foster family to overcome this. He is crate trained and non-destructive. His previous owner has indicated some anxiety issues at the groomer and vet. Coco is currently being fostered with two large dogs and two cats. Foster Mom says he gets along great with the other animals in the home, and routinely expresses curiosity and interest in the cats and big dogs. Coco isn’t very vocal but will whine or paw to communicate when he needs something (potty, attention). He does great with older kids (younger kids who don’t respect or understand boundaries – unknown) and most adults, although he does prefer women to men.

Snoopy, like his brother Coco, has spent his entire life with the same owner before coming into Rescue. Snoopy is mild mannered like his brother, but still quite active. His favorite game is playing fetch with his little basketball toy. Like Coco, Snoopy loves to sit on your lap or be snuggled in close. He lives with two cats and two big dogs while in foster care and does well with both (expressing little to no interest in the cats and minor interest in the big dogs for play). He is also working on his separation anxiety as well as leash training. Snoopy does have some anxiety and fear around men (and older male children), stemming from trauma occurring before he was brought into Rescue as well as minor resource guarding (his ball and occasionally his person). He has been making progress with both while in Foster Care, but needs a person or family who will continue to work with him on overcoming these obstacles.
