--Snooki (R.I.P.) German Shepherd Dog Mix Spring Lake, NJ

This sweet senior girl is Snooki. During her time at Rescue Ridge, she has touched the hearts of each and every one of the volunteers. Despite the care and attention she has been receiving, she still needs your help.

Found as a stray, no one knows how long Snooki was out on her own, fighting to keep herself alive. Luckily, she found herself at Rescue Ridge to receive some much-needed TLC and just in the nick of time. Poor Snooki has been through a lot. As if being out on her own was not enough, this geriatric girl was so stressed out living in a kennel environment that she had to be hospitalized. Her golden years have not been so “golden” but one of our very own volunteers took one look into her eyes and decided she would take this sweet angel under her wing. Snooki is now in foster and Rescue Ridge is doing everything possible to keep her in good health and in the best of spirits. She needed help desperately and her foster mom has dedicated herself to making sure Snooki is spoiled and well cared for. Rescue Ridge continues to pay for any needed medical expenses to keep her comfortable and content. Incredibly, her quality of life has improved, but her medical expenses will continue to build up and she needs your help so she can continue to receive the attention she needs.
