Meet Snickers
Snickers - Male - DOB- 7/1/2013
Snickers has been greatly loved by his family for his entire 11.5 years of life. It is with great sadness that the family is needing to find him a home that he can spend his golden years in. The ONLY reason the family is needing to find a home for him is because they are being relocated out of the country. There IS time to meet and greet and "Do Date Nights" with Snickers, as the family will be in Omaha until June 2025.
We WANT to find the right match for this sweet and calm senior boy that loves children and is very gentle with them. He has been raised with children. He Loves cats (perhaps a little too much depending on the nature of the cat), and Snickers adores his doggie friends.
Snickers is half border collie, quarter German Shepherd, and quarter Rottweiler. Very smart! He is potty trained, leash trained, car-ride trained, and IS kennel trained..... however he has not needed to be in a kennel for many years.
Snickers likes to think he is still a big tough doggie that can protect his house and his people, Oops!!! We apologize. Snickers IS STILL a big tough doggie, he just reminded us of that, LOL.
Snickers truly is a softie at heart for anyone that greets hims with kindness, gentle pets, and TREATS!!!! Strangers need to be introduced slowly.... Because Snickers IS big and tough and protective =) Once he has the opportunity to meet any human, and realize that they are not a threat and snacks are in their pocket, he’s golden!
Snickers is in excellent health and is still active but he is quick to settle down for a nap at home with loved ones once his backyard shenanigans are complete.
