Snickers Labrador Retriever Mix Warrington, PA

Do you need as much love, laughs and cuddling as one 17 lb growing puppy can provide? Super-sweet, mischievous little Snickers is the dog for you! She’ll come when you call her, sit her little tush down for a treat, and smother you with doggie kisses before cuddling next to you to nap through your favorite TV show.

Snickers is still learning doggie manners, so expect her to forget her potty-training now and then until she learns your routine and you learn hers. Or she might chew the favorite sneaker you left carelessly within puppy-reach, or the inviting corner of baseboard. Or she could weave around and nip at her leash when you walk her. But she’s very smart and highly motivated to please (as long as you’ve got a tasty morsel to reward).

She loves playing with another dog (or dogs) in a safe fenced yard so she can run like the wind and chase and fetch balls and sticks and lose at tug-of-war (although she gives it a mighty try). Dog companions should be calm, confident and playful, but willing to administer a lesson or two in behavior.

Snickers likes to relax and nap in her puppy playpen, which keeps her (and the rest of the house) safe when her people have to go out. But at this stage she needs someone home most of the time to make sure she gets out to potty frequently enough to reinforce her training. And to give her ample opportunities to play with her toys and other dogs and people. She has a lot of energy, but it runs out pretty quickly with vigorous play/exercise, so she needs plenty of naptime.

An active family with or without children (as long as kids are puppy-savvy) who can provide plenty of love, time, and exercise will be the perfect fit for Miss Snickers.
