CHRISTMAS FOSTER UPDATE - Snickers had a busy weekend meeting the family and making new dog friends. She loved playing with the dogs and they helped her come out of her shell. I think a home with another dog would be best for her. Probably a fenced yard as well as she loves to run. No issues with the cats… was just curious. She is wary of men and seems to keep her distance for the most part. She is eager to please and responds well with praise when she is unsure.
Snickers is the momma to the Candy Bar Litter. Her babies are weaned and have gone out to foster and she is now looking for her forever home. She is just a baby herself at a little over a year old. She came to us right after her babies were born because the owner didn't want to deal with a litter of puppies - which would have been easily solved by spaying her. She is probably a Shepherd Mix.
She is so sweet and she was an excellent momma. She loves everyone. She is housebroken and kept everything very clean and tidy in her nursery with the babies. She is fairly calm after 5 minutes of excitement when you walk in where she is at. She just loves to have people pet her and love on her. She will make an excellent family dog. She is good with adults and kids and will do fine with other dogs. We do not have any cat information on her.
