Meet Snickers (Adoption Fee Sponsored!)

Hi, my name is Snickers! I'm estimated to be a Pit mix born around 9/18/2017. I came up to Wisconsin from Texas and weigh close to 65 pounds. I have a lot of energy and will need an active family. I look for trouble when I can so training will also be beneficial for me. I like to jump up and nip, we're working on that behavior as I'm not aggressive, just naughty. I'm not so sure about other animals so a home where I can learn some good manners without other pets would be best for me. With time, I can maybe be introduced to other dogs but right now, I present myself poorly to them. One thing I do like is a squeaky toy! I'll grab one and run and run with it, squeaking it all the way! Obedience classes for adult dogs and puppies can be incredibly helpful for both animals and humans. It helps you understand what makes me tick and will give me a better idea of what you want me to do. It’s a win/win and it will also strengthen the bond between us! Apply for me today!

Staff note: Is a strong playful guy, knows sit, and lovesssss Squeaky toys and attention on him he loves people & treats he’s a big goofball with a big smile.

My adoption fee has been sponsored! Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.

CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
