Snickers's Story

Our Snickers would love a home of his own. He loves his people more than anything. At first he can be a little wary of new people and new places and he needs time to warm up. His foster family is working on increasing his confidence and exposing him to new things.

Snickers Likes:
• His people, including older children
• Cuddling with his people
• Working in the yard
• Naps
• Food

Dislikes:
• Walks in a neighborhood. Snickers prefers to play in his yard at home but with time we have no doubt he would learn to enjoy walks in his neighborhood
• Car rides. The car makes him nervous but he continues to make progress with this.
• Loud and busy households. Snickers is a lover of quiet and routine so a home with children who have a lot of friends coming and going would not be a good match.

Snickers is good with other dogs and dog-savvy cats. He will need a patient home with a family who can help him through his nervousness but after that initial short period you will have a dedicated and loving life long companion.

Snickers - 26 pounds of love wrapped in a super cute little body. He is neutered, housebroken, up to date on all his shots, heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm medication, and crate trained.

As for Snickers breed, that is anyone's guess. We have heard Chihuahua mix, Basenji mix, Beagle mix, lab mix, you name it! To us, Snickers is the best breed, Mutt!

Snickers was born in a foster home on March 28, 2023.

Interested in learning more about fostering to adopt Snickers?
