Dumped. Starving. Left to Die. <br/><br/>Near Belcabito, out by the Rattlesnake area, someone dumped this tiny pug and left him to starve to death.<br/><br/>He never stood a chance.<br/><br/>A small, flat-faced dog with no ability to fend for himself... abandoned in the cold, with no food, no water, no shelter.<br/><br/>Who could ever do such a thing to such a sweet soul? It is terrifying to even imagine what he endured.<br/><br/>By sheer luck — and we truly mean luck — he was found.<br/><br/>Skin and bones.<br/>A swollen, painful eye.<br/>Sneezing constantly.<br/>Weak. Dehydrated.<br/>A mere skeleton of what should be a happy, snorting, wiggly little pug.<br/><br/>And yet... he is gentle. He is kind. He leans into touch.<br/>Despite everything, he still trusts.<br/><br/>He is with us now at Denkai Animal Sanctuary.
