Meet Smokey
SMOKEY NEEDS AN ADOPTIVE HOME!
Great news...The shelter is willing to adopt out SMOKEY. Fee is only $88.

SMOKEY is a sweet, happy 3 year old, 73-pound boy who prefers people to other dogs. He was found stray and his owner refused to redeem him, so the Humane Society of Utah rescued him. SMOKEY is now looking for his second chance; He needs another rescue to step up.
He loves people and giving face kisses. He can get jumpy when excited, so likely not a match for small kids.
He knows basic obedience commands and how to walk well on leash. He is treat- and toy-motivated to learn more.
SMOKEY entered the shelter in early January 2018. Unfortunately the kennel environment has been really hard on him. He has always been indifferent with dogs, but because of the shelter environment, he has become defensive when other dogs come within his bubble. At this time he needs to be an only dog until a dog trainer assesses him.
SMOKEY is already neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped.
