Meet Skylar!
We have been fostering her for 3 weeks. She is a sweet and loving pup. She LOVES kids (actually all the humans) She gives LOTS of love and kisses. She plays hard with our pup, Marcus. But, once her play energy is out she is happy to lay at your feet.
She follows us around and is very food motivated. This has helped with training as she is learning sit, down, off (she jumps on people and counter surfs). However, she must be fed away from other dogs. She is food aggressive to our dog. She is doing well with potty training as long as we get her out on a schedule and pay attention to her cues. (She has had a few accidents when we weren’t paying attention) She sleeps all night in her crate with no issues. Once the house is quiet she will settle down and sleep and once she hears someone get up in the morning she is ready to go.
She is a sweet girl who loves attention. If you work from home she will be happy sleeping at your feet while you work. She is spayed and around a year old. (Guesstimate from shelter and vet). She is super smart and picks up quickly on commands when rewarded with a treat. She is ready to be your best friend! If you are interested, please contact Journey Home GSD Rescue
