Meet Skye
Meet Skye!
Skye is a 7-year-old terrier/dachshund mix who found herself looking for a new home after her previous owner could no longer care for her. This sweet, silly girl has so much love to give and will keep you smiling with her goofy personality and love for toys.
Skye enjoys playing fetch, doing little zoomies around the house, and then curling up in your lap for snuggles and kisses. She can be a little shy with new people at first, but she warms up quickly and shows just how affectionate she is.
She's good with other dogs and older kids, and while she hasn't had much experience with younger children, she may do fine with proper introductions. Skye is also working on her potty trainingshe spent long stretches of time in an apartment before coming to usbut she's improving every day with the help of her foster.
Skye does have some environmental allergies (she's been tested), which may occasionally require an allergy shot to keep her comfortable. Otherwise, she's in great health and ready to find her forever family.
Her foster says it best: She's one of those awesome dogs we get every now and then, so we hope she gets the perfect match.
