Meet Skye! Skye is a robust 57-lb, 10-year-old Sheltie who was surrendered to us with his sister, Kenzie when his owner could no longer care for him. He is overweight and will need a patient, loving adopter who will help him on his journey to health and happiness.
Ever the curious and alert guardian, Skye will make sure you’re aware of any new visitors. While he may initially keep his distance from strangers, his natural curiosity brings him around quickly.
Skye is an obedient and loving presence who lives for scratches and attention. His mornings start with him seeking out his humans for a good rub. He prefers the cool cement pantry floor over the cushiest of dog beds. His dreams? Cold weather and a flock of sheep to manage—classic Sheltie goals!
Skye will eat just about anything and has a special love for yogurt. Though he’s carrying a bit of extra weight, he’s otherwise in good health and eager for adventures.
Despite being 10 years old, Skye still has the energy and playfulness of much younger pups. He thrives on routine, love attention from his humans, and will bring love and laughter to any home.
Skye is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $350.
