Looking for an active, but extremely snuggly and devoted pup? Skittles is your girl! Her top priority is to be with her person, whether you're hiking in the woods or snuggling on the couch. She has been raised in a foster home with her mom and siblings since birth, so is very affectionate with people she knows and loves playing with familiar dogs. She is wicked smart and eager to please.

Skittles is a worrier, so will need a home with another more confident dog and an adopter who is home more often than not. She is not a dog who can be crated for an 8 hour workday; she wants to be doing things with her person. Her adopter should be committed to continued training, both to build her confidence and to keep her mind occupied. A physical fence and shepherd experience would be a big plus for Skittles. An adult-only home is preferred, and she is not suitable for an apartment or urban environment.
