Skippy Beagle & Chihuahua Mix Denver, CO

Skippy is a young mystery mix with the biggest ears. He is around 15lbs, probably between 1-2 years old, and colored like a beagle though his bouncy steps have us thinking that he might be mixed with some sort of terrier or chihuahua too. Squeaky toys are his favorite, and he loves to play with the dogs in his foster home. He loves treats and attention, and wags so hard that his butt will wiggle back and forth too. He is a great companion, happy to follow his foster mom around the house, and enjoys curling up in a bed or on the couch in the evening. Skippy was found as a stray in Texas, but his owners declined to reclaim him, so he hitched a ride to Colorado to find his forever home. He is potty trained, though continue positive reinforcement is always recommended in a new home. He walks well on a leash and is crate trained. He might bark a little at first but quickly settles down for a nap. He does love to play chase so is not recommended to a home with cats, but he would be ok in a home with respectful kids 10+. He loves to wrestle with the younger dogs in his foster home and is also respectful of the older dogs too. He is very affectionate and is ready to find his new BFF.
