Skippy Jack Russell Terrier Toronto, ON

Hi, my name is Skippy. I am a 2-year-old, 15 pound, white and tan smooth coat Jack Russell Terrier. I think I was given this name because I tend to “skip” when excited. I was found roaming the streets of a city in Ohio. I’ve been in Canada for a few weeks and now ready and excited to be looking for a loving family to give me a forever home.

I am happy-go-lucky, relaxed, gentle, polite and super friendly! I get along with dogs, cats, children and most of all, people! I love walks and will not pull on the leash and best yet, I am fully house trained! I may need help with overcoming my fear of garden hoses and loud water sounds, but with a little bit of encouragement, I am certain I will soon get over these fears.

I am not a big fan of getting washed either but understand why it is necessary. I do not like being crated and will protest if you leave me in there. My favorite pastime is offering cuddles, kisses, and chasing after the squirrels. I would be perfect for a family with children and other dog(s). I would also be ideal for someone who is retired. A house with a fenced backyard for me to run around and sunbathed would be great too. I am a sweet dog and would love to meet you soon! "
