Skipper German Shepherd Dog & Husky Mix Knightsen, CA

Hi Everyone! My name is Skipper! I'm a 5 yr old German Shep mix weighing approximately 51 lbs and my Foster family says I am super sweet and handsome too! They found me on a very hot day and I jumped in their car as soon as they opened the door...I was super thirsty and hungry. They brought me to the shelter and my owners didn't want to come get me, so the nice people who saved me came back and got me and now they are my foster family. I'm a pretty chill guy, but I do like to my exercise time and you will see me doing zoomies around the yard. I LOVE going o walks and I am good on the leash. I do like being outside, and riding in the car to go on outdoor adventures is my favorite thing.
I am crate trained, and will nap in my crate with the door open....I also know how to use a doggie door and like to be able to go in and out as I please.
I have a couple of foster siblings that I like to play with. The little one can be a bit bossy, but that doesn't bother me. I love meeting new doggie friends too when we are out at the park. I have never lived with a cat so not sure how I would act around one.
I have a great temperament and my foster family says I am a super family dog. They have grandkids who visit and I am good with them but my foster parents are very good about making sure kids know how to touch me kindly.
I can be a little protective of my food with the other dogs, so I need to be fed separately from the other dogs in the home.
I would love to have a home where I can be a part of the family and be included in all the fun family stuff and go fun places with my family.
My adoption fee is $300 which includes, health examination, current vaccinations, neuter, microchip, flea and deworming treatments along with any other medical or dental deemed necessary by my veterinarian.
