Skipper Labrador Retriever & Shepherd Mix Overland Park, KS

Skipper's sweet Mom found herself lost in KCK and gave birth to a litter of puppies. She somehow kept them alive for months until they were saved. Skipper is 5-6 months old and is learning what it is like to be a pet. He is a very sweet boy who has fully embraced the comforts of a cushy dog bed, is potty trained, and uses the dog door like a pro. He loves to play with other dogs. He would do best in a home with a patient adopter who understands he may be a bit timid at first in new situations. Small children will likely scare him. He may better thrive in a home with another dog as well to help show him the ropes. The adult dog Scarlet who is pictured is his mother. This darling boy deserves to know what it's like to be a loved member of the family. We'd love for you to meet him.
