Wiley-Active 'n Awesone!! Basenji & Cattle Dog Mix Yorkville, IL

***Just a little update on Wiley since we have more time to spend with this AWESOME boy. He is incredible, smart, agile, loving, friendly and a great guy. He recently met a family and dog and was amazing despite some awkward handling/greetings during the process, he handled things like a champ. He is an incredible boy that needs a family looking for an exceptional, willing to learn, incredibly active and intelligent boy****. Wiley's pictures are a bit deceiving, he is actually a small/medium dog and just weighs in at around 30 pounds! He is simply the perfect size for that active person/family on the go that would like to get out and hike, kayak and explore with their four footed pal. Wiley was living in the city and was out of his element, he has more than his fair share of energy and to be couped up and getting by with a couple leash walks a day was not enough for this pup(he is just a year old now.) Wiley has been doing fantastic in his foster home where he spends his days playing with his dog buddies or snuggled in with one of his people, yes he does think he is a lap dog! At night he happily snuggles into his crate for a good nights sleep and wakes each morning with a zest to begin another adventure! Wiley is incredibly smart and learns quickly, loves other dogs but maybe too much for small children-he can be a bit exuberant.
