Meet Sister

Sister is an 1.5-year old, 53 lb female, Shepherd mix breed.

Sister is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to her new home.

Sister is one of three pups rescued from a sad situation. Luckily, the siblings were rescued at a very young age, and have been with the same foster throughout so they are sweet and gentle souls. Their foster was not in a position to keep all three indoors, and tried unsuccessfully to find them homes before reaching out to the rescue, but hopes that they can be adopted by loving people who will work with them to transition them into the life they deserve, as beloved indoor dogs and true family members. At their foster home, they are primarily ranch or barn dogs, so they are accustomed to livestock and spend all their days outdoors. They are all well socialized to people, love to play with children and interact with other dogs (with limited exposure to cats), but they have lived in the barn and are not accustomed to indoor living. The ideal adopter for Sister and her siblings, Itty Bitty and Butter Bean, would be a patient person willing to complete this rescue story and work to give these dogs the life they deserve. They are still young and very trainable, and respond to love and treats.

Sister is the shy one of the trio, she is sweet and loving but prefers to let her siblings take the lead. This girl would thrive in a home with a patient person and a calm and friendly dog to serve as a mentor. She knows how to sit and pose for photos and is a fan of gentle pets. She is sweet and active and would love to go for long walks. Sister would probably like a cute new name to go with her new life too!

Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada.
