Meet Sissy

My name is Sissy and I am looking for a loving quiet home where I will get to be a princess. Okay I don't mind if I am not a princess but would love to be your little girl. My birthdate is 3/15/2009 and I thought when I was first adopted life would be wonderful. I was a tiny puppy full of dreams and hopes and so many goals. Life didn’t turn out that way though.

I was kept in a cement run with little space and wasn’t giving nearly enough to eat, when I was taken to the shelter, I only weighed 14.8 pounds and my tummy hurt from being empty all the time.
Things certainly got good though really fast. Yes, soft beds, a spa treatment, I was so clean and smelt so good, and then food! Oh, my goodness. I got all my needles, my teeth cleaned and also a clean bill of health. Well I have put on a few pounds, but have maintained my girlish figure.

I am a good girl and have now learnt that if I go out to pee I get to come back in, it took me a few days to figure that out but once I get it, it stays stuck with me. I will be okay with other dogs, but will need you to encourage me to come and sit with you, and let me know that you want to love and care for me. I do enjoy my meals and a soft bed, and a basket is something I have come to adore, and if the blankets are pink, well I think that is the best ever. I am not a high demand girl and will fit into any lifestyle. I just want to be loved and be secure.

Oh guess what when I stand on my hind legs I will put my arms beside my body like tucked in
chicken wings, cause I was used to not having much space and still getting used to this. I look
really cute and will take a treat so very gentle from your hands when you offer it. I do know my
manners and my basic commands and will even go out for my pee when you tell me it is time and I am even getting good at asking when you forget. Please if you think you can give a 12lb senior girl with lots of life left in her and so much to explore and learn about a home please consider me.
