OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.

House Trained: He does really good in house. He is in a kennel when home alone.
He will need some more patience and a little more training. Especially in a new home.
Crate Trained: Yes
Energy Level: Low/Medium. He is playful and loves to play with his siblings, but is also calm and sweet.
Can be handled/touched: Yes, he will probably be a little shy to start but he warms up quickly.
Barker: Not a lot
Flight Risk: No, but he is very nervous in new situations. Need to be very cautious in the beginning.
Food Aggressive: Not that I have seen. He eats in his kennel alone.
Current Food: Diamond beef Mixed with Diamond skin and coat
How Much and Often: 3 ½ Cups a day 1 time a day due to my schedule
Walks on Leash: Still working on it. He is nervous on a leash
Rides well in car: He rides in a crate in the car. He rides well in the crate.
Destructive: No
Needs Home with Yard: Yes, he needs a fenced yard. He is in a fenced yard here and is used to having a big yard
to run and play in and not 100% on leash yet.
Needs Home with another Dog: yes, he plays with siblings and foster siblings here. He is used to having a playmate. Another dog in the house would also help with his confidence.
Can live in Apartment: No

Foster Insights/Backstory: Sir Kyle and his littermates were about 6 weeks old when a foster went and picked them up from a very rough situation. The foster spent 2 days having to catch them as they were scared and hiding. The foster had them a couple months until they started digging out of her yard and could no longer keep
them safe. He is very sweet and loving, just a little unsure of new things to start with. He has a very sweet personality.
