Introducing Sinatra, a 4 month old deaf Dalmatian puppy. This boy will steal your heart with his baby blues & sweet disposition. He is eager to please people and his foster dog-siblings. He is working on potty training, crate training, and has started Canine 101, using hand signals to communicate. He is all puppy & plenty of trouble, so he will do well in a home committed to positive reinforcement training, infinite patience, and full of activities (Dals make great running/hiking partners once fully grown). This boy will need a family with a fenced yard where he can burn off some of that energy. He would not be a good choice for apartment living.

As we cannot hold him in foster care for a year (until he is old enough), we will be allowing his adopter to take him home, but will require a written commitment to having this surgery done prior to one year of age. GDU does ask a minimum adoption fee of 300.00. This does not even come close to covering all expenses created by animals while in rescue. We are funded solely by the angels and volunteers willing to donate time and finances. This minimum fee includes DAPP, rabies if age appropriate,, heartworm test and preventative, if age appropriate, and flea and tick treatment. In an attempt to avoid tummy upset from a sudden change of food, the foster family may include a small, transitional bag of the food the dog/puppy has been eating. And if the dog/puppy has grown attached to a special item (like a toy or blanket), they may send that along, as well.
