Simon GDP's Story

Meet Simon! Born around April 1, 2025, Simon is pure sunshine in a furry package. He's always smiling, always playing, and always ready to wrap his front paws around your leg for a hug. His joyful energy is contagious, and his kisses are the best around!

Nicknamed "Squirrel" for his adorable looks and playful spirit, Simon loves toys, treats, and friendly dogs. He's curious about cats and has the sweetest eyes and beautiful facial markings. He has beautiful markings on his face, and he has the sweetest eyes.

Simon currently lives in an outdoor kennel with his littermates and is still learning to feel safe indoors. He'll need a patient, loving family to help him adjust, crate train, and learn to walk on a leash. He's not housebroken yet, but he's eager to learn and thrives on activity.

Simon would do best with an active family who has time to play, train, and give him a yard to run in and a warm bed to sleep in every night. He's agile, athletic, and full of puppy energy just waiting to be shared. The right home will be blessed with Simon's giant heart and he'll repay you with endless love and affection.

Simon is neutered, UTD on shots and boosters, microchipped, and currently on monthly NexGard and Heartgard. Simon is part of the Guest Dog Program through DFW Rescue Me. His foster family will bring him to a home visit for any potential forever families for a meet and greet.

The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet.

Simon is participating in the DFW Rescue Me guest dog program, so ongoing care and custody is provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
