Meet Silva

Silva is an approximately 6 week old mixed breed pup that currently weighs 6 pounds. Silva is one of 10 pups born to a wonderful pointer type mix named Rosie. Rosie is about 65 pounds and the sweetest of dogs. We anticipate her pups will be of similar size when grown. They look to have a variety of colors and mixes in there so we are going with mixed breed.
Silva is a very sweet and outgoing girl. She wants to play with EVERYONE! She is a typical puppy and appears to be very smart, already picking up on her housetraining skills very easily. Silva is active and playful and sees young children as siblings, so a bit older kids and those with experience would be best for her. Silva will do best in an active home and would really enjoy playing with another canine friend because she is all about the playtime!
Silva and her littermates will be ready for adoptive homes around March 11 after receiving their 2nd puppy shots. We would love to have homes lined up for this crew.
Silva is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. She will be adopted with a spay agreement due to her size and age. Silva's adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Charlotte Blake.
