-Personality: Playful, affectionate, goofy, a little nervous in new situations
-Can Live with Kids: Unknown history. Silas would not likely do well around rambunctious kids who will rile him up- fast motions and sudden movements make him uncomfortable. At this time we're recommending calm, dog-experienced kids 12+, pending an introduction at the shelter.
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history, will need slow, supervised introduction for safety of resident cat.
-Can Live with Dogs: NO - Silas is extremely uncomfortable with other dogs and forced interaction will cause conflict. Not a match for families looking for a dog they can take to dog parks or who are planning to rely on dog daycare.
-Can do Apartment Living: Potentially, although it's possible Silas has never lived indoors and may need a longer adjustment period to get accustomed to apartment life. He will also need lots of exercise and mental stimulation!

Additional Information: Silas is a very sweet dog who was brought to the shelter as a stray. He was a little nervous when he first got here, but has really warmed up since then and is now ready to find his forever family! Silas would prefer a calmer home with adopters who can go slow with introductions to new people/situations. He can get a little ramped up in play and doesn't always realize his size-- he's really just a big ol puppy who hasn't quite grown into his limbs just yet! We're still learning more about Silas' personality but he seems like he could adapt well to most home environments, as long as he is the only dog.
