Meet Sid A Sweet Soul with a Silly Smile

Hi, I’m Sid — a 3 to 4-year-old, 15-pound pup with a gentle heart and an unforgettable little overbite that gives me the cutest smile ever !

I was rescued by The Sato Project from a heartbreaking hoarding case in Manatí, Puerto Rico, where I lived in a crowded home with over 30 other dogs. Life back then was tough, but thanks to some amazing people, I finally got the chance to heal — inside and out.

When I was first rescued, my skin was in rough shape, but I’ve been getting medical baths and special care, and I’m healing beautifully day by day. I'm now healthy and ready for the next step of my journey.

I’ll be flying into Morristown, NJ around November 8th, and I’m hoping my forever family will be there to meet me with open arms.

Because of how I was raised, I’ll need a loving, patient, and understanding home — somewhere I can go at my own pace and continue to learn that the world is a safe place. A quiet home and maybe a gentle dog buddy would help me continue to blossom.

If you’re someone who sees the beauty in a shy dog learning to trust — and if you have a soft spot for quirky smiles — I might just be your perfect match.

Sid is ready to love and be loved. Could you be his forever?

About The Sato Project:
The Sato Project has been working hard since 2011 to rescue and rehabilitate the stray dogs of Puerto Rico, known locally as “satos.” To date, we’ve saved over 8,000 dogs and are committed to stopping the overpopulation crisis with spay/neuter and vaccination programs. Your adoption helps us continue this vital work.
