Once we have received your completed questionnaire someone will be in touch to set up an appointment for you to come in and meet the pet(s) you are interested in. If you have questions prior to completing the questionnaire please email info@clarkshelter.org or call (859)737-0053. Appointments will not be scheduled until the questionnaire is completed. This process can typically be completed the same day or by the next day depending on appointment availability.

Shyloh was surrendered to the shelter because her owner could no longer care for her and family members had other animals and could not take her in. Shyloh is working to build confidence, something that can be a little challenging in a shelter setting but Shyloh is very willing and is making great progress. She will need a stable home that will be patient and help her continue to learn. We believe Shyloh is house trained. Any change is going to be a little scary so Shyloh is looking for a family that will be dedicated and give her the time she needs. Shyloh is fine with most other dogs but does have some jealous tenancies with treats and toys so she is looking for a home where she could be an only pup or a home with a very experienced handler that could be vigilant in managing resources. Shyloh may be a little slow to greet new people but once she warms up and bonds she is your friend for life. She is very affectionate and would be a lap dog if allowed.
