Health
Vaccinations up to date, special needs. Shy has chronic skin disease and dermatitis. Symptoms may include red/irritated skin, scabs or rashes, itching, thin coat or hair loss. While some skin issues are temporary (flea allergic dermatitis), some can be long term (such as food allergies or seasonal allergies). Monitor your pet closely to see if there is a seasonal component to itchiness or if it seems to be triggered by certain food or treats. 6 masses were surgically removed. 2 of these masses have been sent for biopsy to confirm the suspected diagnosis of mast cell tumors. Biopsy results were received that confirm the initial diagnosis of Mast cell tumor grade I-II with complete excision. At this time she is healing very well and scheduled for suture removal 1/30/21. Please see your vet with the results from the biopsy and monitor the areas for recurrence.

Meet Shy

***Special Needs – Waived Adoption Fee*** Hi, my name is Shy! Don’t let my name fool you, I’m actually a pretty outgoing and friendly lady who is looking for her perfect match. I love being pet and going for walks. I already walk well on a leash and am easy to handle. Sometimes I can be a little jumpy, but only when I get REALLY excited, and I take correction well. I came into the shelter as a stray so much of m history is unknown, we do not know how I will do with dogs, cats, or kids.
