Meet Shirley

Shirley, 4 month old, female, Lab/Shepherd mix
Laverne and her siblings were found as strays in Idaho Falls. They were never claimed and were transferred to the AAC on Saturday 5/23. Their world has been flipped after being astray, held in a shelter for their stray hold and then being transferred here. They are great with other dogs, people and kids. They definitely need some help with puppy things and will need an owner dedicated to training to ensure that they turn out to be great adult dogs in the future.

To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We will slowly go through our line to set up a private meet and greet for potential adopters to foster.

Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy.

Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.
