Shine Shine Shine!! This gal has the most soulful set of eyes! She looks at you as if all the worlds problems are hers to solve. They could also be just so very heavy as she has had a rough life. Shine is approximately 5 years old. She was brought to our attention from our friends at HARTT. She showed up and started to sleep in the carport of a home that belonged to a caring couple in Ton0pah, AZ . She stayed for weeks, accepting food and water but not allowing anyone to come close to her. Initially she had open wounds, a heavy limp and it was obvious she has had multiple litters. Volunteers from HARTT were able to humanely trap Shine and after some bouncing around, Shine is now in our care. We have really enjoyed falling in love with this beautiful soul. She is as grateful and sweet as can be. She will thrive in a home that has no other animals and a family that will allow her to snuggle up with them and to watch a good movie or to share a pillow over night. Shine will do fine with limited exercise (just walks) and it is important that she does not become over-weight. X-rays show an extreme arthritic elbow that can cause her some discomfort if she over does it in the exercise department. Shine will live happily ever after in a home that lives a low key lifestyle and will spoil her. If you are interested in adopting Shine, please take a moment to fill out our application: www.povertyspet.org/adoption. There is a $200 donation and all adoptions are required to have an application to begin the process. Once received, you will be contacted within 72 hours. Thank you!
