Shiloh GDP's Story

Meet Shiloh -- A Gentle Spirit with a Playful Heart. Born around April 1, 2025, Shiloh is a calm, sweet-natured pup with a quiet charm that's impossible to resist. She has a long body, big paws, and adorably short legs but don't let those fool you. She was the first of her litter to master jumping their 40" play yard fence, proving that determination beats leg length every time!

Shiloh loves attention and tries her best to jump up for cuddles. Her floppy bloodhound-like ears and stunning brindle coat give her a unique beauty, and her soulful eyes speak volumes, always asking for love. She's playful and affectionate, enjoying toys, tug-of-war with her littermates, and snuggle time with humans. She's wonderful with kids, other dogs, and cats, and she knows exactly when it's bedtime, just shake the treat jar and she's ready to settle in.

Shiloh currently lives in an outdoor kennel with her littermates due to space limitations in her foster home. She's still learning to feel safe and relaxed indoors but settles down with one-on-one cuddle time. Shiloh is looking for a forever home that will have time to crate train her because she is not housebroken, time to teach her how to walk on a leash, time to take her on walks, a yard to play in, and a warm, safe bed to sleep in indoors every night. She would love an active family because she loves running around and playing. She has lots of puppy energy left to burn! The right forever family will be blessed by her giant heart, and she will repay them with all the love and affection in the world!

The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet.

Shiloh is participating in the DFW Rescue Me guest dog program, so ongoing care and custody is provided by her foster, not by DFWRM.
